Consona’s talented product experts will be available before and during the conference to lead advanced technical sessions that will help you get to the heart of your Consona application. Take advantage of these hands-on workshops to delve deep into the software and build innovative solutions to your unique business challenges. Make sure to bring your laptop so that you can practice while you learn.

And this year, you have the choice of when you would like to attend these sessions! Choose from our pre-conference sessions, a 4-hour block on Tuesday afternoon, or enjoy a series of 1-hour sessions during the conference that cover the same in-depth information! These workshops are being offered for a nominal, one-time fee of $200 for any/all advanced technical sessions.

VBA & Fastforms Workshop
This four-hour advanced technical workshop focuses on specific projects that attendees bring to the conference and is perfect for users currently working on a project with VBA and/or FastForms and need assistance to move the project along. Users should bring their laptop with a fully-functional, standalone instance of Made2Manage and a current programming project. All attendees should have VBA installed and FastForms, if applicable.
**Prerequisites: M2M Foundations, VBA and M2M FastForms.

SQL Server Administration Workshops
This four-hour workshop begins with an introduction to Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and its architecture and is particularly beneficial to system administrators and IT personnel. Attendees have an opportunity to participate in a detailed discussion of:

SQL Versions 2000, 2005, 2008.

Manual SQL backup.

Restoring a SQL database from a backup.

A SQL database maintenance plan (automatic backups) and protecting your data.

Recovery methods for the SQL Transaction Log files.

SQL security.

Advanced Reporting Workshops
The Advanced Reporting Workshop is presented on Friday morning, Oct. 15, over sessions 10 and 11. In these sessions you will learn a variety of valuable information that you can use as soon as you return home. Advanced Reporting allows you to create operational reports easily and gives you the ability to drill all the way down to the source data with just a few mouse clicks. In this session, you can expect to learn how to:

Easily create both summary and detailed operational reports that can be filtered by any criteria and changed with simple point and click procedures.

Combine data on reports from any area within a database.

Create reports combining detailed and summary data, making formerly impossible or highly-complex reports relatively easy.

Re-fresh reports automatically and send alerts to key personnel.

Use Advanced Reporting's advanced dashboard capabilities to quickly transform reports to display key performance indicators.
